One of my favorite guilty pleasures in sound design is that of granular synthesis. Sound created from millions of tiny sound particles.
I recently read Curtis Roads excellent yet head spinning book Microsound. I was doing a little digging on Youtube and I came across a 3 part documentary about Curtis, so I though I had to share :-)
I also have his album that he released on Asphodal Records. Its well worth a listen if you like such things.
